Always dreaming of living on a boat, Mrs. Leven from Britain was finally able to make her dream come true. Instead of buying an overpriced floating house or sailing around the world in a luxury boat, she acted differently.

Mrs. Leven invested her money in an old, worn out ship. And in two years she has changed it beyond recognition. The new owner equipped the ship with all modern utilities – electricity, heating, and running water. But that's not all the new features the ship can boast.

Repairs

The ship is currently moored on the Medway, Kent, United Kingdom. It was originally used to transport chemicals and paints from one of Britain's largest factories, Imperial Chemical Industries. The ship was retired in 1960 and was very fortunate not to have been destroyed like her two sister ships. During the repairs, the steam engine was replaced with a diesel one, and all old wooden parts were renovated.

The boat's current owner Mrs. Leven wanted a comfortable and convenient home. For this purpose, the woman used both floors of the ship. Inside, she furnished an open plan kitchen living room. In addition, the boat boasts two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a second living room, a library, and a study next to the engine room. Mrs. Leven didn't forget to furnish a small room close to the captain's bridge.

Interiors

Room interiors are quite varied. There are places which have Morocco vibes because they are decorated with lots of rugs, colorful tiles, and wooden mirrors. The library looks like an American nursery. The dark blue bedroom has a French charm. Hundreds of little lights on chains, which the shipowner is obsessed with, weave through all this splendor and create a cozy atmosphere. The toilet resembles an Art Deco object. It is the eclectic nature that makes the interior of the ship a place impossible to forget.

Overall, the ship has become a real home, which any sailor would want to live in.
